McFly

McFly é uma banda britânica de pop rock/punk que alcançou a fama em 2004. A banda, formada em Londres, foi fundada por Tom Fletcher (vocalista/guitarrista) e também é formada por Danny Jones (vocalista/ guitarrista), Dougie Poynter (vocalista/baixista) e Harry Judd (baterista). O álbum de estréia do McFly, Room on the 3rd Floor, estreou em primeiro lugar no UK Albums Chart e recebeu o disco de platina duplo. McFly é também a banda mais jovem a ter um álbum de estréia em primeiro lugar no Reino Unido. Um mês após o álbum ter sido lançado, a banda teve seu primeiro turnê pelo Reino Unido. O segundo álbum da banda, Wonderland, também alcançou o primeiro lugar no Reino Unido e foi lançado em 2005. O seu terceiro álbum, Motion in the Ocean, foi lançado em 6 de Novembro de 2006 e ficou na sexta posição no Reino Unido. McFly lançou sua coletânia musical All the Greatest Hits em de Novembro de 2007, que ficou na quarta posição no Reino Unido. O quarto álbum de estúdio da banda, Radio:Active, foi distribuída gratuitamente como um complemento do The Mail on Sunday em 20 de Julho de 2008.

McFly apareceu na comédia teen Just My Luck, estrelado por Lindsay Lohan e Chris Pine, em 2006. A banda representou a si própria no filme e lançou um álbum, "Just My Luck", que também foi utilizado como o trilha sonora do filme.

Até em julho de 2008, McFly teve quinze singles top dez, dos quais sete atingiram a primeira posição no UK Albums Chart.

Aprendi a gostar do McFly com minha filha Isadora! Hoje somos fã deles juntas. Eu apresento a ela aos meus idolos e ela aos delas. Assim eu aprendo com ela o que tem de bom de musicas, bandas e musicos novos e ela o que teve de bom do meu tempo. E nesta troca nos une cada vez mais e trocamos figurinhas sobre nossos sonhos e nossa vida. McFly nos presentiou com a união desta banda maravilhosa com uma linda canção do Grupo Abba que pertenceu aos anos 70/80, e que tambem tanto encantou os jovens da epoca. McFly gravou "The Winner Takes It All" e fez uma bela interpretação da canção!
